Jay-Z/Motorola Headphones

Dr. Dre is about to get some friendly competition in the headphones market, according to CNET’s Crave. There’s indication that Jay-Z will release his own set of headphones with Motorola, which will go up against Dre and Monster Cable’s Beats by Dr. Dre.

Motorola’s “Jay-Z” headphones have been given the FCC approval, but there’s no official confirmation if they’re connected to the hip-hop mogul.

The Federal Communications Commission filing reveals that you can use the “Jay-Z” headphones with your Bluetooth audio device and Bluetooth cell phone simultaneously. If you’re listening to music and your phone rings, you can transfer the call to your headphones. Hang up the call with a push of a button and your music automatically continues to play.

I want Dre and his -- but probably wont get either.

Soulja Boy has eyes set for a November Release on his second album. "iSouljaBoy"

Soulja Boy Tell’em is set to take over the airwaves once again with his sophomore album iSouljaBoy, scheduled for a November 18th release. The title is an ode to today’s technology, like iTunes.

The 18-year-old Internet phenom is producing tracks for the album, which features additional production from Polow Da Don who crafted the first single.

One of the new songs that recently hit the net is called “Turn My Swag On.” If that’s any indication of what’s to come, it looks like we’ll be hearing a lot more of the "Crank That" rapper.
