808’s & Heartbreak is the title for Kanye West's upcoming fourth album ^[1]. The album is scheduled to be released on December 16, 2008.^[2]

The first single off the album will be "Love Lockdown", which has already been performed live and is planned for release on September 8, 2008.^[3] He performed his new single at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

The confirmed first single is "Love Lockdown." It premiered at the 2008 VMA's where Kanye West performed the song as the closing act. There is also another song called "Heartless" which Kanye has been performing live.^[4]

There was also speculation on the title "Good Ass Job" for his 4th album, but so for it looks like 808's and Heartbreak is the title. (hope these ain't aaaall R&B type songs...)
